Coats You Can't Afford to Miss

Oh my god, is it actually Autumn?? Has it finally happened?

Better late than never, am I right, y'all? I am still in shock that when I walk outside, I don't immediately start sweating. In Austin, cold weather is anytime the temperature drops below 70, but that doesn't mean we should be any less prepared for freezing temps. I always try to buy all my coats during the summer when stores has insane sales on all their winter staples, but sometimes that's just not realistic. In the summer, trying on coats is an actual sweat-fest, and people look at you like you've lost it. Also, I don't know about anyone else, but I've been in such a shopping-mood lately that regardless of everything I've stocked up on over the summer, I still feel like I need more.

A lot of stores have really great sales at the beginning of winter. Places like Old Navy and H&M will sometimes mark their sweaters, coats, and vests down up to 50% off, which has been fueling a lot of my lunch break shopping sessions. Despite what some people say, you can truly never have too many coats. I am a fan of options, and outerwear is not excluded from this, even in central Texas. And don't count out places like Burlington Coat Factory. A few years ago, I got my go-to Calvin Klein coat there for only $80.

Here are some super great coat and jacket options I've been eyeing lately, all under $100.
